For anyone wanting to meet up with support crew, how about the Falloch Kink, grid ref NN326202 - the only place you don't have to cross the river to get to A82. I used it in WHW 06 - ideal.

I was at Carmyle today when showing my good lady where she will be meeting me. About 30 yards after the cottage the gate was closed and cattle were on the road beyond. Do you know if the gate will be open next week to allow access to the crossing point. I ask as my wife has mobility problems and the nearer she gets the better. No problem otherwise as my son will just have to get off his ass instead, although the gate being closed will reduce the space available for cars.

It will be a great draw towards Beinglas but will also make it difficult to leave, knowing that there are two such dazzling beauties there.

The gate will be locked, but the whw path is only a stones throw from the gate. Can't do anything about the cattle. The couple that stay in the cottage are really lovely and are on board with you guy's parking & waiting for your runner

I'm just plotting it on Tracklogs and noticed the grid ref for Checkpoint 5 (Beinglas Farm) is wrong. It should be NN 321 187. The grid ref given is in the middle of nowhere.
