In light of the Grangemouth scenario i wonder if somebody local to the event can say if there are any Problems or not with the availiabity of petrol, and if there is, is it also affecting the availiabity of AUTOGAS, talking of which i know i can get Autogas in Fort William but does anybody know if it`s availiable around Milngavie.
Sorry for the questions but just trying to ease progress.
Thanks JohnK

If anyone, like me is driving as support for various runners and looking for fuel, can I suggest that after the start, rather than drive via the Strathblane Rd to Drymen, you use the A82 from Glasgow to Balloch and then the road from Balloch to Drymen. There are numerous petrol stations on those roads. The cheapest is normally at Morrisons on Glasgow Road, Dumbarton or Sammy Kerr's garage which is on Dumbarton Rd, Duntocher, Clydebank.
