That's us got over 100 entries....how many do you think we'll get by race day. Maybe we should have a prize like a family bag of Jelly Babies !!

It is always invidious to use inside knowledge, so I'll share with you all, that we now have 125 entries with seven months still to go till 25th April. In the hunt for jelly babies, I'll also pick a round number - so 250 it is.

Our club AGM is tuesday I have been fireing emails at everyone about fling relay at the moment I have 13 folks intrested.
On tuesday will have a better idea of final numbers. Will entries close at some point or do we have plenty time.
I think we might register 1 ladies 1 gents and 1 mixed.
But dont want to jump the gun till I know for sure.

hi
will you close entries beyond a certain number, I'm tempted but need to both negotiate with the wife (I'm trying to work out when best to ask the question) and test my errant achilles out a bit more first.

Hi Roger,
Entries are still wide open, and as it's the cheapest race I know off, you'll only be out of pocket by £12 at the most if you change your mind!!

My club seems to have a new found excitment about it.

Ok that's my entry in, picked the right moment to pop the question to the wife
"err, do you mind me being away all weekend to go do a race"
I asked after our weekly dance class after I suffered even more than usual, I gave this as a present 3 years ago and she hasn't let me stop yet.
Also the achilles seems to be coping with increasing the miles, beautiful run on kinder today in the snow I did the second half of the edale skyline route, surprizingly it feels easier when you haven't done the first half despite the hard frozen peat groughs and stiff wind.
Looking forward to increasing the distance of my longest race by 10 miles, see you all there
Roger
