The Balmaha marshalling team looks forward to welcoming you as you run into Balmaha car park. On your approaching the car park you may be asked to shout out your race number. This will enable us to get your drop bag to you as quickly as possible, and speed you onwards without any delay. Hopefully. If you are not too fussed about leaving in too much of a hurry (enjoying it so much, you want to savour the moment), there are some picnic tables nearby where you can rest your weary limbs ~ briefly ~ before continuing on your journey. We do hope everyone will be bright eyed, bushy tailed, thinking positive thoughts, and enjoying the experience. And don't worry too much if you are not likely to be amongst the elite superstar prize winning runners. The Balmaha checkpoint drop bag competition will give you an opportunity to have your own moment of glory on the podium. Famous at last!! See your race briefing instructions for details. Hi Murdo
Many thank's for the warm welcome. I'm looking forward to a 'wee' break at Balmaha already.
I don't know if I'll be "bright eyed, bushy tailed, thinking positive thoughts, and enjoying the experience" but we'll see....fingers crossed!
Once again, thank's Murdo to you and the 'Balmaha' team. Without you guys and all the other volunteers, we wouldn't be enjoying this experience!
Pete

I wonder what the prize is............. Cheers Murdo, See you on Saturday So do I John! But I suspect the value of the prize will pale into insignificance compared the glory of winning, and being on the podium ;D Murdo tM
