I was wondering whether there were rules about any support people running alongside/behind you during the race for morale/encouragement.
Is it frowned upon and considered 'breaking race rules' or are there official guidlines regarding this to be adhered to.
I have no expectations re being at the sharpy end of the race but would be interested.
Thanks

I see that no-one has replied as yet. Question has come up before and the RD confirmed that the answer is "no". There are enough other runners for company and as the Way will be pretty busy chances are you will be running with other people of your pace.
The race is set up to be an un-supported with drop bags to reduce risk to the race through traffic and support problems.

Thanks for the reply Stan - I pretty much figured this. I am looking forward to the chat and company of other runners. An amazing bunch of people, that I will be privelaged to share the pain with The morale company from someone from my support team was a secondary consideration and also to respond to one of my support team who was keen to run a section with me. Nice to have someone respond All the best Wellpark
