Another top sponsor has joined the "Fling". The Coors Brewing Company are kindly providing
1) a cool bottle of Coors Light for consumption at the finish, 2) a bottle of Coors Light for every "goodie Bag", 3) a Coors Cup for the club with the most finishers.
The Coors Cup will be presented at the Ceilidh to the club which had most Ultra finishers. Those likely to be in contention include Carnegie Harriers, Carnethy Hillrunners, Central AC, Dumfries RC, Kilbarchan AC, Newport & District RC, Northumberland FR, and Milburn Harriers.
This brings our two great Jims (Drummond & Robertson) into sight of a place on the podium - about time!!
Many thanks to Coors for their support. For many thirsty runners, that Coors Light at the finish may be the best beer they ever taste.

Talking of goodies at the end, where does it all happen? i.e. stovies, massage, presentation.
Open air? Village Hall? etc?

Why not a good British or Scottish brew. Is this an American take over bid?
