Another successful year and all thanks again to all the wonderful volunteers and marshalls who give up their Saturday to make the Highland Fling race so successful and make me want to come back year after year. It is their dedication that brings me back, their kindness and generosity just warms and heals my broken body. A big shout out to my friends at Ayr Seaforth Volunteering for the first time - Gael, Lynsey and John. Thank you so much, to you all : - )
p.s. To Ena and her supercalifragliisticexpialidocious Lentil soup and being the greedy sod i am i had to try the Tomato what can i say - delicious - and to all the post race staff who worked tirelessly at the finishing line to make each and every runner feel special - THANK YOU - my heros...: - )

Echo that - everyone was great and enjoyed a nice jig to some fiddle music before my legs broke. At the finish the beer and tomato soup (recipe please ?) hit the spot. A huge thank you to Ian Cameron who trailed around the course and lifted my spirits. Mo - no words necessary. Peter.
